Photographer position

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER - OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS, UT AT AUSTIN

position is filled.
Position Title: Digital Photographer Description:
The Office of Admissions is seeking a high
energy, talented, creative, friendly and flexible
currently enrolled student with the ability to
take photos of current and prospective student,
as well as campus events and scenic shots of the
university and of Austin, TX. Our office is
looking for a professional, committed, and
dependable person with basic email and computer
skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability
to handle multiple tasks, be exceptionally
detail-orientated and a self-starter and be
willing to learn and have a great attitude.
Photos will be used in print publications for
prospective and current students, as well as on
our website, Be a Longhorn
(http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/). The Office of
Admissions produces one of the largest print
publications for prospective students every year
as well as generates an average of 6,000 users a
day on our website. Previous professional
photography experience is preferred but not
required. $7.50/hr 10hrs/wk Start: Spring 2006
Performance will determine continued employment.
Requirements: An outstanding portfolio displaying
digital capabilities Available 10 hrs/wk
Available Spring 2006 and Summer 2006 Working
knowledge of PhotoShop 7.0 Good communication
skills Currently enrolled student Preferred: Has
own equipment. Experience with color correcting
images. 1st or 2nd year photojournalism student.
