Multimedia intern

40 hours/week, schedule varies

Wage: Stipend plus free room and board.

Description: You will work on the Multimedia Desk producing and editing video, Flash graphics and other Web-related journalism. You will be part of team expanding the reach of Texas' second-oldest daily newspaper. Victoria is two hours south of Austin near the Gulf.
You will have free room and board in newspaper-owned apartment across from the Victoria Advocate. Weekday breakfasts and lunches also included at the newspaper's cafeteria operated by award-winning chef who is part of the family ownership. Weekly stipend of $100 to cover other expenses.

ENVY, a San Antonio-based magazine, is in need of interns (editorial copy,
photography, design) during the holiday break­ in its Houston and Dallas offices.

I'm not too sure on how long your holiday break is, but any time spent with
ENVY is a great way to get hands-on experience and a crash-course on the
magazine industry.
