Business journalism job
Mira Oberman, a former UT journalism teaching assistant, sent me this job posting. She said she got it from UT Journalism Prof. Rusty Todd.
reporter position is opening up here at Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine
in D.C. that would be a great first job for someone interested in business journalism. The basis of the job is fact-checking stories for the magazine, as well as research projects and coming up with story ideas. In the past few years, they've really opened up a lot of writing opportunities for reporters, so once you get
situated here and show that you can handle the basics, you're free to pitch
and write stories. If you know anyone interested, they can email me and I
can send along more info, katy.marquardt@gmail.com.
