the Stuart Long Memorial Scholarships
for Aspiring Print/Broadcast Journalists
2006-2007
At least $2,000 each
Applicants must submit:
· Résumé
· Two sealed recommendations
· Three to five samples of your work
(clips, photos, video & audio tapes cannot be returned)
· Financial statement describing college financing, including other
scholarships and loans (Financial need considered)
· One-page essay: “Why I Want to Be a Journalist”
Deadline: Must be postmarked by Friday, March 31
